Your website is stored on an ultra reliable and highly stable CentOS Linux server computer. The server is housed in a data-center which provides an optimum environment for such computers, and of course the high speed internet connection. Each server has dual dual-core (yes, two dual core) Opteron processors and 8Gb RAM. To keep your data secure, we have invested in daily backups.

The data center runs industrial standard air-conditiong units to monitor and maintain cool temperatures that prevent the servers from overheating. Overheating can reduce performance or damage components, so you can be sure that our servers are kept at peak-health.

All the servers in the data center require constant power connections. However, just like at home, utility power from the mains supply is not fail safe and not guaranteed 24/7. The data-center therfore has multiple generators that power the facility during mains power outages. There are also Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) which are in simple terms a battery supply capable of keeping the facilities online until the diesel generators come online or until utiltiy power is restored.

Both physical and network security are taken very seriously at our data center. For secure areas, access is restricted using biometric authentication, such as fingerprint recognition. Security personnel are on site around the clock an have access to hi-tech security monitoring systems.

Fire is a high risk in any installation that has so much electrical equipment. The data-centre has invested hugely in fire suppression to eliminate risks of fire damage.
